NFUN 11/09/20 12:22:06 PM #1:	~~i wouldve given the proper scores yesterday if anybody had asked~~ The Tier of Legends #1: Trails in the Sky the 3rd - Dreamy and Boisterous Holy Land tgs: 10/8.7 NFUN: 9.3/8.1 Total: 9.65/8.4 (9.025) https://youtube.com/watch?v=USwjWuD0YBg https://youtube.com/watch?v=vRCqcg0P3_A The original is most likely going on my short list of "best vgm ever" caliber tracks because whewwwww that stretch from 1:24 to 2:01 that also repeats one more time later. I get one hell of an dopamine rush from listening to that. The intensity is fantastic, the guitars and drumming are just PERFECT, and the beeps(?) that accompany them (like the beeps(?) from 1:24 to 1:45 as an example) are fucking bonkers. I don't smoke and I feel like I need one anyway after all of that insanity.... I am also amused however at how just increasing the pitch of stuff results in that section sounding so much worse in the evo version. While it is not quite as disastorous of a screw job like when WCO's evo did it, I am angrier here just because of how incredible the original was. It feels like they were super lazy with the evo song which is stupid. I would normally say "do better", but this low effort """evolution""" is still really really good despite my immense disappointment in it. I always thought this was a final dungeon theme based on the name...will check out it and Castle of Illusions later.
