PS3 era but not the PS3 itself.
Although the PS3 digital storefront circa 2010 still gets my vote for best console storefront. --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name... But Dauntless Hunter is now MrGreenonion ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've played way more ps3 gen games but I'm not sure the quality was particularly higher.

I don't like the PS3 much at all but I'm not sure about the libraries. Some games did suffer from the hardware of the PS3 but it was a long and notable generation.

PS4 easily. PS3 era was good enough and seemed next level at the time but this last gen has really revealed just how much it was the awkward transition phase between the PS2 and the actual future of games.

Like PS3 was fine I guess, but I much preferred 360, Wii, and DS in that time period.
I liked PS4 better as a console, but I also feel like I just kinda... missed it? I spent the vast (vast vast VAST) majority of my time in this era playing 3DS/Switch and I just... can't think of anything huge and era-defining that I played on it?
