Original Zendikar block, Avacyn Restored, Scars of Mirrodin block etc would be your best bet but those are already absurdly expensive..

With all the bling bling these days, you're better off investing in collector booster boxes and hold onto them for a while.

was just branding. they haven't been, officially, for a few years, now.

If you want to invest, don't buy a fat pack and be wary of sets in standard due to collector boxes.

Buy a draft box to sell at later date.

iirc, YGO doesn't have anything exactly comparable.

it's about a third of a box of boosters (currently 10) and some extras. a die, a storage box, a promo, etc. exactly how many boosters and which extras has changed over the years.

Zendikar rising 100%. The expeditions make it worth it to hold onto. Each collector box has 2 box toppers and 2 guaranteed foils in the actual packs per box. I got a foil misty rainforest, 2 foil verdant catacoms, and my normal ones were arid mesa and Marsh flats.

They're around 200 a box before tax right now which is very low because thry printed another batch recently. Last month they were around 260-270. So buy one or two now and sit on them a few years. The fetch lands in them will almost certainly drive up the prices.

Also Ikoria collector boxes have the godzilla cards so if you can afford it I'd invest a bit in those if you can get a good price.

Commander legends is coming out soon and has some really good stuff in it. Commander is only becoming more popular so that's also a good set to look into collector boxes. It comes out this month on the 20th.

Lastly, if you can get ahold of any "masters" sets that'd be worth holding onto as well.

Well I got like 5 of the Eldraine Gift Bundle when it was 40 dollars and now on amazon they are like 75.

Actually that is the same for the Zendikar Gift Bundle. I have one ordered from when the pre release first started and got it for around 40 and they are already at 75 dollars. But that might be because covid but who knows.

the gift bundles are a little nicer. better spindown, nicer box, and a collector pack. but they don't make them for very set, iirc.
