Depp lost his court case to the Sun but he's planning on appealing. The facts haven't changed, but having a judge say that a newspaper can call him abusive for many people is justification that the original story was true.

For example, the judge didn't take a side on whether or not Amber Heard actually hurt Depp's finger, but the judge did say the Depp using his bloody finger to write on the wall is fair admission for feeling threatened.
