Weird that arcades full on died in the US but are still a thing over there

I'd kill for more US arcades with games that aren't redemption/ticket bullshit.

And yes I know of the places that still have tons of old arcade games, I just want newwwww stuff

Arcades in Japan are the shit. I had a blast at a couple of them when I was over there.

Dave and Buster's is all I got pretty much with other small arcade bars here and there.
When it's safe to go again, I'm gonna live like a teen and go to arcades, movies, skating rinks, etc.

Pretty sure their arcade scene is relatively small as well. However, their arcades also have a lot more going on with them than ours did, since they have the prize figure scene. Plus I'm pretty sure they tend to have a greater population density which makes it easier to support those kinds of businesses.
