Applied to over 400. Only got 3 interviews, all declined me.

I've only been offered one full time teaching position (without a teaching license). That's the job I have now.

So, yeah, not good.

Luckily and surprisingly, my teaching job pays me more than all the other jobs I interviewed for.

3 retail jobs in college, I was super naive and straight up said I just wanted a summer job. I didnt realize that I was supposed to act like I wanted to be employed at said companies for the indefinite future (in my defense, as a waiter, you could do that, which was my experience).

For career jobs, Ive been 3 out of 3 so far. And those were all lengthy in person office interviews, with aptitude testing thrown in. So Ive actually done fine with the big boy interviews. Shit job interviews require a completely different mindset.

When i was looking for a job in my career, I could have easily taken a contract job but I declined all those.

None, I've gotten every job I've ever interviewed for.

There were 2-3 that never made it past the application process though.
