In Siralim every monster has a rather powerful passive ability ... and the gods are no exception.

The first on the list is Aeolian
Wind Aegis: Your creatures cannot be damaged by attacks or spells

...Well dang, that seems like it should be impossible to beat that. Well, what would you do?
Hint: You can use DoT and passive effect damage

So here's the rest - what do you do?

Azural
Reckoning: Enemies do 100% less damage, but deal 7% more damage for every buff they have

Erebyss
Darkest Night: At the start of this monsters turn set the HP of all enemies to 1

Friden
Curse of the Deep: Your creatures always have blight. Your creatures are immune to damage except from the effects of blight
...This one is an easy one. Blight is a status effect that makes healing deal damage so the only possible solution is to heal the boss....... BUT - very few heal spells can target the enemies and you don't have much Mana, there needs to be a different way

Gonfurian:
Ancient Techniques: Your creatures have extremely powerful artifacts
In this case, those extemely powerful artifacts have +1000% all stats plus more BS

Lister:
Life Isn't Fair: Your creatures are immune to everything
This one doesn't count, this one automatically ends after many many many turns

Meraxis:
Iron Will: Your creatures start with 100% more stats; in addition they perform actions as though they had 1000% more stats

Regalis:
Sucked Dry: Enemies are afflicted with a random debuff at the start and end of their turns

Surathil:
The Best Offsense: Your creatures regain 100% HP at the start of their turns and they gain Shell
Shell is a buff that makes you immune to a single instance of non-DoT damage

Tartarith:
The Butcher: Enemies cannot manually attack or cast spells

Torun:
Downright Rude: At the start of this creatures turn deal damage to all enemies equal to 400% of their max HP
???

Vertraag:
10'000 Lightyears: Enemies die of old age
I have no idea what that actually means.... weird flavour text

Vulcanar:
Ultimate Ember: Enemies have 50% stats and cannot gain stats

Yseros:
Facade: Your creatures are immune to damage from each class the enemy has (up to 4)
Note - there are only 5 classes in the game

Zonte:
Master of Magic: This creature has 500 extra Mana. In addition it takes 1% less damage for each point of mana it has

...
Well, some of those sound easy since they have rather esoteric effects... but it's very difficult to build a party to exploit these effects

Such abilities exist, but bosses are immune to them

Also, these are just the abilities of the boss itself, they also get a party of 6 (well, 5 more monsters) which also have their own abilities. Notably I thought Gonfurian would be the easiest since you can shrug single-monster damage by casting shell every turn, but EVERY monster in his party gets an OP artifact.

There is an ability in the game that decays artifacts to remove their stat gains which I think is the intended strategy... but it's probably very rare since I don't have any monsters with it

Can you get the other gods to join your party? You could do a Megaman-type of thing and exploit weaknesses using other gods abilities assuming the other gods can join your party.

Yes, you have to defeat the gods to get one in your party, but their party ability is quite a lot weaker since you only get an "Avatar" of the god.

Blight does not affect Surahtil since she's not healing to 100%, just setting to 100%... ....... wait, right?

I better check...

Well hot dang, you were right! while inflicted with blight her passive causes her to deal 25% of her max HP in damage to herself so all I had to do was stall out her other spells and make sure blight didn't dispelled

One God Down

EDIT: She didn'y take damage from blight upon review, but it still healblocked

Would group buffs count as separate buffs for each monster on your side? Maybe one group buff would count towards several stacks for the 7%.

Dragon Warrior Monsters is excellent, with DQM2 being one of my favourite games. Joker 2 is ok as well

Siralim is a 6 V 6 (all at the same time) Pokemon came. Every monster has one very powerful passive... so it's basically like pokemon if their Ability was cranked up to 11. Every monster can also equip 1 artifact which is basically your Held item... each artifact can have stats and status effects/immunities on it, as well as an additional monster passive.

There is a weird type advantage system, but it's largely ignored - it's all about the stats

As for gameplay... DQM2 has one of the best random worldbuilders there is, and Siralim...... doesn't. The actual levels are just meshes of rooms and corridors, kinda like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon; So if you like level design - this ain't it

Damage is based on the individual monster, but you're on the right track - I'm sure the intended strategy is to pile on like 20 buffs and just go to town. Problem is its rather tricky to stack multiple buffs and the boss will try to dispell and silence

However, Siralim Ultimate (4) is coming out soon, and I kickstarter'd it up the ass so I even get a custom monster design...

So here's my plan...
First, paint a convincing looking tunnel on the side of a mountain.
Second, pave the area in front on the painting so that it connects with a nearby road.
Third, taunt the god so that it's chasing me. But I need to be able to out run it so that the god won't see me as I hide behind a bush.

The god will...
A) run into the painting and get knocked out.
B) run through the mountain. I'll need to remove the painting with terpentine to trap the god in the non-tunnel.
C) stop to look where I've gone. I'll need to cut the rope holding a safe above where the god is standing.
