It's not like you're using it to kill somebody before they become president and, after they become president, it's not like it goes to the losing candidate even if you kill both the prez and VP. In fact, even right now if you killed both of them before the election that wouldn't give it to the other guys if your victims had more votes. It's not a perfect solution, but it does provide an option other than simply accepting the "wrong" outcome. I'd be very surprised if one couldn't find somebody they like by going far enough down the line of succession. --- This is my signature.
