it was a mere suggestion to prove an experiment, there is so pressure or any foreseeable consequences should you not oblige. since youre my best pal, you do a single jumping jack of your own volition...but was it not my will behaving through you? in all likelihood you would not have performed the sad lonely jumping jack at the moment had i not requested it of you.

I'd keep questioning why the person asked me to do it until they got fed up and stopped trying. If they have a good reason and I share an interest in the results, I'll do it.

My bet is most people wouldn't because you made it a demand. If you asked, you'd get better results.

My first thought when someone demands something is "who the fuck is this person?"

My first thought when someone asked me to do something is "Would I lose anything meaningful by helping them out?"
