However, even he can have a dud sometimes. While this game definitely has the twists that Uchikoshi loves writing in to his visual novels, I think this game suffered from being a visual novel adaptation of an anime series rather than the usual of being the other way around. The main puzzles that are in this title are only present in less than half of the episodes and are very front loaded, so the game turns into a straight visual novel for over half the game - I get that they couldn't change the storyline too much as the story was already set, but it makes it feel like a mess when reading through it. Despite all this, I still found it to be worth a read if you like Uchikoshi's works - just not on par with a lot of his other visual novels. Will continue the VN binge by starting Robotics;Notes soon.
