Also, I would've expected it to come out during Bill's continued simping for Peggy. He wouldn't let her live down the fact that they banged once, he'd cling to the desperate hope that they'd hook up again just like with Lenore.

This all reminds me of this show my daughter would watch. It was about this boy with an imaginary friend who would go on these pretend adventures to other places.

The part I found odd is that his sister would only appear in these fantasy lands, but his imaginary friend would be with him in the fantasy worlds and the real world.

The better King of the Hill one is that Dale knows about Nancys affair with John Redcorn, he just doesnt care and plays dumb for everyone elses benefit.

so this made me go watch a few cartoon theory videos and i have an answer to the topic question now.

i hate when theories overwrite and ignore what the show actually tells us.

like there's a theory that maggie didn't shoot mr. burns, despite the show literally showing us that, and mr. burns saying that she did. the argument is that he was covering up for marge. then there's the king of the hill theory where dale actually knew the whole time; the argument for that one being that dale saw what divorce can do to a person and he didn't want to end up like bill.

i think when you ignore what the show is actually saying, you open things up for literally everything and you may as well be writing fanfiction. i could just as easily say that dr. hibbert was the one who shot mr. burns, and i could argue he forced him to blame maggie because if he didn't he could've pulled the plug on him. i could argue that barney shot mr. burns and he coerced him into blaming maggie because of a secret life debt that only he and barney know about.

i used to run into this all the time when trying to talk story with the undertale fandom and it drove me fucking nuts. you have to ground your theory in what the work does and says, because if you don't, you're creating blanks and filling them in. you are calling the creators liars.

tbh it could be true, because now that Ash has won, he's just randomly jumping around the world catching crazy-ass pokemon. By the end of the season or whatever Ash is gonna have a Dragonite, Gengar, and Lucario on his team
