No preference. Some of my favorite songs are sung by females, some by males.

In the case of Mr. Sandman, I like both The Chordettes and The Four Aces versions of the song.

I dont know how to answer this because a lot of what I listen to are male singers with very high pitched, almost female sounding voices.

I like both although most of my life has been spent listening to guys so I've gone out of my way lately to try and find more female singers. It's been a challenge and a lot of them end up making like just 1 or 2 albums and then the band breaks up.

I prefer instrumental.

More of my favorite vocalists and performances are male than female, but its not by a lot.
