I have a bunch of vacation hours that I want to use before the year ends, and I normally am scheduled off Mondays and Wednesdays. (I work Tues.., Thurs., Fri., Sat. and Sun.)

So I said to my boss, hey instead of me taking a whole long vacation, how bout you just designate Tuesdays as a vacation day for me until the year is up?

So starting the second week of November, l'll be having Mon-Wed off until the end of the year.

And seeing as I typically don't even get two days off in a row, three days off will indeed feel like a vacation. Seven times. :)
