I was pushing hard to create a master contract (contracts used by multiple state agencies) for the murder hornets back in May. I was turned down because "Agriculture has it handled". I wanted Ecology and natural resources to have access to the suits (suits for asian hornets are special, regular beekeeper suits are nothing compared to asian hornets). Asian hornet stinger is 1/4", european honeybee is a matter of MM. Like under 2MM for sure. 1/4" is over 6MM.
