To be fair, Obama's immigration policy wasn't that much more humane. Obama was caging people too, it's just that Republicans were never going to complain about it, so it wasn't a scandal during the Obama administration.

Way fewer people though, never including seperating children from their families, and Obama's immigration department never forcibly sterilized detained immigrants. The problem is no one who is against it has given any idea as to what the alternative is.
