But what about the important question...who have they made black?

There was no diversity in the early Uncharted games, the last of the pre-SJW generation of gaming lol.

Remember when Chloe was attractive in Uncharted 2 but uglified in Uncharted 4?

That's one thing I don't get about diversity in Hollywood. When they make a White female character Black, they usually downplay her looks as well. That has rather unfortunate implications.

I get the idea is supposed to be that looks aren't important and diversity is, but it almost comes across as saying Black women aren't as attractive. They should celebrate Black beauty rather than trying to pretend that beauty as a concept doesn't or shouldn't exist.

So Chloe will be in this? But she was introduced in Uncharted 2 so I figured they'd save her for a sequel. But it makes sense to do their own thing then follow the games exactly. The games are cinematic enough themselves.

In terms of the Sully casting, I just learned apparently it was originally going to be Bryan Cranston. This reminds me of Batman V. Superman where Cranston was the obvious and best choice for Lex Luthor but they went with a younger actor that didnt fit the part at all instead.

I can accept that.

I just don't want any casting choice that completely go against the appearance of the videogame characters. Holland works, even if he is not the best choice.

Do you guys legitimately not know why these movies get made? It's not to "make a good movie". It's not to be "faithful to the original". It's to make money. The studio will do whatever the think will maximize the profits. That means casting big name actors that draw people into the theater.

This is a cold, heartless Hollywood cash grab. Most stuff is. It's kind of pointless to argue about this stuff outside of that specific context.

I think Nathan met Chloe before Elena so makes sense if they're going the prequel route.

Movie is gonna suck anyway.

I always thought the guy that played on Bones would've been a good Drake. At least looks-wise. They should've gotten Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play as Sully

-Tom Holland isn't a twink, he's a twunk. He has a great muscular body and is a believable adventurer. The only thing about him that physically doesn't suit Nathan Drake is that Tom Holland has a very young-sounding voice. His face looks young but that's fine; this movie can just be about young Nathan drake

Nathan Drake is apparently 5'9". So height diff is not noticeable. Can always wear lifts if need be.
