Like I have a Masters and my career seems to be going well, I imagine by my late 30s or early 40s I'll be upper middle class

If I don't have kids will that basically be as enjoyable as being upper class? Like I feel like I will be able to afford nice shit at the very least, I'm not really that materialistic

upper middle class is the 60-80% income level and upper class is the 80-100% income level, ya?

Then no. Kids don't cost that much.

If you're that worried about the potential fun you could be missing out on with children then just knock out all of it now rather then worrying about if you can or not latter.

With a middle/upper income enjoying traveling and having fun isnt as expansive as most seem to think. The hardest hurdle would be finding the time and scheduling it all.
