He gave Moro, the main villain of the current arc, a Senzu Bean.

Under the promise that Moro would go quietly in the Galactic Patrol's custody afterwards. He immediately broke that promise, of course, resulting in him absorbing an Angel's power, matching MUI Goku, and ultimately merging with Earth itself to contain the Angelic power, which according to Whis means that destroying Moro now means destroying the Earth itself.

Moro is swelling up with so much Angel energy that Whis states that when he inevitably blows up, he will destroy the entire galaxy. Obviously Earth and its Dragon Balls would be gone, but since New Namek is probably also in the same galaxy, it too would be destroyed, taking away the Namekian set.

The only recourse here would be to seek out the Super Dragon Balls spread out between Universes 7 and 6, which they would likely need Bulma's Super Dragon Radar for (and she probably didn't even bring it with her to Kami's lookout).

Then Vegeta gets knocked out.

Then Goku fights some more and achieves a new form, but it's still not enough.

Then Goku solos with the biggest spirit bomb ever. Of this saga that is.

Then all death and destruction is undone by the Dragon Balls.

Rinse, repeat.

I havent read the chapter yet but was there any reason Moro couldnt be apprehended as was? Plus didn't Jacko already give the greenlight the heros the greenlight to kill him?

Are they even making a second season of Super? Has that been confirmed at all? And would they even be using the same voice actors in America since there was lots of accusations against a lot of them? Problem is that even if some of them deserve to be fired they have been doing these voices for 20+ years so it just isn't the same if they get someone else and it makes it not worth watching anymore if any time here hear them speak the character sounds different.

Either way, the thing to do is obviously to use Vegetas new super-situational technique to pull Moro out of the Earth.

Also, this chapter was super stupid. At no point was Moro on the verge of dying and he clearly couldnt put up a fight against Goku, even at full power, so there was literally no reason to give him a senzu. Just terrible writing, even by Dragonball standards.

Goku also gave Moro his usual spiel about how Goku never fought anyone as strong as him, and that he would like to fight him again if Moro trained properly. So this all boils down to Goku's desire to fight strong opponents.

That's true. Though even though the Namekian souls freed by Vegeta returned to their bodies, I wonder if the Namekian Dragon Balls would be active in time? Then again, I don't think there would be any limitations on them either way.

Vegeta will use his new Spirit Fission to separate Moro from the Earth. I'd say there's a 50/50 chance they'll even use it as an excuse to "separate" Merus from Moro, as a bullshit way of bringing him back. Because Dragonball doesn't give a shit about there actually being consequences for anything. Then Goku will deliver the final blow, probably give some bullshit speech about learning his lesson even though everyone knows he hasn't because the writers have given up on coming up with original ideas and will just keep repeating the same plot "twists" every arc.

The window for him to do so probably passed already, since it only goes back a few minutes and Whis can't use the power again for a while afterwards. Plus, he's big on non-interference, so he probably won't do it anyway.

He was doing it for Merus's sake. Merus told Goku that he admires how he shows mercy even to worst of people, so he figured he'd give Moro another chance too. Goku wasn't "tricked," he was being true to himself and honoring his mentor. It was a dumb move, but it was in character. At least this time he was still better, he didn't let the opponent get stronger than him. It's more akin to the end of Goku vs Freeza than to what Vegeta or Goku did with Cell. And he was gonna suck it up and kill Moro when Whis told him, but the warning came too late.

So yeah, he fucked up, but he's still the strongest.

The situation still doesnt make any sense. Theres no reason to give him a senzu when he cant put up any kind of fight even with it and he doesnt seem to be on the verge of dying. Just let him go back to prison and heal normally if you dont want to kill him.

And what does Goku expect Moro to do to get as strong as his MUI? Unless he just happens to be like Frieza, theres no reason that he would be able to train hard enough in prison to ever match Goku, who now seems to have access to an unlimited RoSaT and gravity multiplying rooms. And hows he gonna make the galactic patrol get Moro out of prison so they can fight anyway? And the only reason Moro put up a fight against him in the first place was by absorbing a shit ton of planets.

Is he telling Moro to go to jail, train, break out again, absorb a bunch more planets, and come back to fight him (and not use any Dragonballs again)? And also, presumably you cant wish the people Moros absorbed back until Moros dead anyway, so hes effectively permanently killing all of them as well just to let Moro go (for no reason at all).

Its like the author wanted to do Cell (which was already stupid) again, but the situation is completely different.

Tbh him giving Morro the Senzu bean didnt really contribute to the current issue they are facing now. Him bragging about where he learned UI from is what helps Morro

Having mercy doesnt make him dumb. He knew that he had them beat and if they tried shit again he'd stop them. He was just strong but gentle is how they portrayed him.

Goku in Japan has always been this stupid. Funimation made him more like a super hero. Super just made Funi Goku the same as Japan.

Nah, the manga is superior to the anime of super in every arc aside from the ToP (there are still a couple fights in it that are better in the manga).
