Ive always dropped the f word here and there and said shit and stuff like that but since I started working in construction almost every other word is an f bomb or s bomb or mf this or mf that.

idk whats wrong with me but like even when talking with my managers now I just swear, and friends and girlfriends and shit. The exception is clients at work and my parents. The prob is everyone I work with does it, and Im just in that mode now but I would definitely like to swear a lot less.

When you spend a lot of time around certain people you start talking like them, which is probably why youre starting to swear like the construction guys do.

if you really want to stop, I dunno, maybe slow down your talking when youre around clients / etc, so you can catch yourself

Keep saying "fuck" (or whichever word you use a lot) over and over in a row a million times. You'll be sick of using it by the time you're done.

There ya go. It's not easy to go against the flow, so either deal with it, or risk ruffling a few feathers by forcing yourself to maintain a cleaner vocabulary. Ideally, you could go from influenced to influential.

Also helps if you quit hitting your thumbs with hammers. I cant stop even if Im holding the nail and the hammer is laying a foot away.
