The guy who created Samurai Jack.

Has anyone else watched this show?

I could never get into Samurai Jack. I absolutely love Phil Lamarr (the guy who voiced Jack) but something about the simplicity of the animation always turned me off.

This show has a much more intricate animation style. Also, literally no dialogue but, despite that, its one of the most captivating cartoons Ive ever seen.

Heres the premise: (SPOILERS for episode 1)

A prehistoric man in a fantasy prehistory with dinosaurs has his family eaten by a dinosaur. Then, he sees a dinosaur mom have her children eaten by a larger dinosaur and ends up teaming up with her to defeat the larger dinosaur. It goes from there. And gets severely weirder (in a good way).

P.S. Its very R-rated.

I'm a few episodes in. I'm on the one right after the Halloween-esque one. It's fucking fantastic but I have to be in a certain mood to watch. It's extremely violent and sad sometimes lol pretty amazing how they're able to evoke such a visceral response with no dialogue whatsoever.

I watched all of the episodes except for the newest one

It's an excellent show, pretty easily one of the best American cartoons out right now and was one of the best American cartoons of the last decade.

It's pretty nice from what little bit I've seen. I love that it's a tribute to those old pulp stories that portrayed non-avian dinosaurs and humans side by side. And I was saddened by what happened to the T-Rex babies.
