I just don't understand this mentality of this stupid ass police officer

What's wrong with people that make then think and act in this way. Its a big waste of time and just stupid overall for everyone involved including herself. She just stood here for nearly an hour refusing to just give the son a ticket

Isn't it illegal for a cop to detain someone for no reason and to just stand there and intimidate them? I skimmed through the video but it looks like the cop pulled them over and then just stood there but wouldn't let them leave

You either suck at paying attention or you didn't actually watch it.
The cop has his information in her hands the whole time, and instead of doing her job and going to run the information and give him the ticket, she stands there with her hand on her gun and giving the old "Im fearing for my life speil", calls for backup that doesn't bother showing up, blocks traffic, and wastes everyones time while..."fearing for her life", you'd think if that were the case she'd have expedited everything and left.

I suppose this is the sort of cop you want on the force though. Brilliant.

then write the ticket and move on. sounds like the cop needs to stop being a punk. "oh no someone is yelling at me better clutch my gun!"...she should get a new job. This is an ego play and you know it. she doesn't like being yelled at. she's not scared, she's mad and she wants back up so they can escalate the situation and justify arresting her for yelling.

What are the procedures for intervention from an unruly family member? The lady with the camera is clearly 100% bonkers. The cop does seem kind of off, but not much she can do if she has to call for backup in that case.

Guys don't yell at our noble men and women in uniform. It hurts their poor wittle feewings. Poor babies.

She didn't have to call for backup lol, the lady yelling at her wasn't obstructing her in any way. She could have ignored her and got her ass back in her car, wrote the ticket like the lady told her to do and been on her way.

Most likely. She's pissed, and she's further pissed that she's being filmed. She doesn't feel like she's in control, that and she's being steam rolled by the woman filming her. I'm not even sure if race is even the issue here. I can't know that this cop wouldn't have behaved like this with anyone else.

The lady is clearly crazy for yelling at a woman who is clutching her gun over a simple traffic ticket while this country has a history of innocent or unarmed people being killed by cops with no consequences! What a psycho!

why cant you guys just admit that some cops are in the wrong sometimes? Its not that difficult. What do you get out of defending those who do wrong so much?

I only watched the first minute or so but the lady filming nailed it right at the start with the judge, jury, and executioner line. Some cops want to be Judge Dredd.

The right move would have been to just give the ticket and move on. I'd prolly just have done a warning if it was me. Just "hey kid, don't run stop signs" and then be on with my day.

I'd probably make a garbage cop cause I hate paperwork.
