Ask them their birth year or something if it's on you to establish that they're the person on the ID.

I feel like as long as you look at the birthdate on the ID it's good enough these days. You did your job. Otherwise, it's a dime a dozen job and if they fire you, find another. I feel like the people who get fired don't check at all.

ya but if you sell to a minor and they do something stupid or get hurt isnt the person that sold it to them going to be held responsible?
