The governments involved are doing nothing about it. I saw this on the front page of Reddit, but didn't see mention of it on CE. If it sinks, and the oil spills, it can directly effect not only the marine life, but it could reach the Southern US shores. In the comment section by the person who posted this, there's a link to a petition and also an option to donate to this cause. I really urge you to at least watch this short video and sign the petition before this turns horribly wrong. The man who posted it basically risked his life by putting this together.
