it's always been a thing. at least since before anyone on CE was born. but it used to be more subtle. and the 2 sides could usually get along even if they disagreed. sometime over the last like 20 years I think it's gotten worse and more extreme.

Liberalism is a political ideology. So is conservativism. It's now become a term to describe groups of people because people are crazy and so is our political system.

If you are not crazy you should have ideals from both sides. What's unfortunate is these modern political parties are neither liberal or conservative. They are nuts.

It's a two party system and always has been that's true. I grew up in a pretty liberal area and consider myself more that. Fuck the police.

Having conservative values is good how they were intended. Being liberal is better. THe issue is people are control freakish on both sides forcing their beliefs ignorantly on other people. IT's really no fun that way especially the way it is. People have false agendas and everything else. Tight asses.

I just mean liberal and conservative wasn't talked about every 2 seconds to determine every person on the planet. It wasn't a thing like people make it now.

I actually do. People have definately become less social. It's because of the internet and a lot of the people who became successful on it were people who really don't have the best social skills in the real world. It's turned a lot of people away from that.
