I want my burgers to be thick and juicy, the only reason buns exist is to keep your hands dry.

sliders kind of defeat that purpose. Tiny patties and disproportionally thick buns.

Also while I'm complaining about burgers, people who put cheese underneath the patty are evil.

Condiments go on the (toasted) bottom bun. They lend their flavor to the meat better since it'll be the part touching your tongue first. Cheese directly on top of the patty so it melts over the sides.

There's something about being able to finish a slider in a bite or two and having more fresh sliders to eat after, rather than chowing down at the same burger for a while. It's kind of a mental thing.

Also you can get thick patty sliders at some places, the ratio is mostly the same as a normal burger at those places

I think I'd be okay with that then. Maybe a platter as an appetizer to share at the table when I'd like a burger but also another entre

My girl is a manager at a local burger joint and they sell both burgers and sliders, and their sliders are pretty good and the meat is just as thick as a normal burger, just not as wide in diameter. Much thicker than something you'd get at say, Krystal's or some shit but then again I mean that's fast food sliders which shouldn't be counted. Maybe you just haven't found a place that sells bomb sliders? Because I was the same way for a while when it came to sliders, like I'd just rather a regular burger. But after going to a couple of places that actually made good sliders it changed my outlook on them.
