I like the idea of it, but it is excruciatingly difficult to keep all the people straight. 13 main characters with 13 unfamiliar names that have name variations depending on time is just a nightmare. I spend half my time trying to flip through the glossary

It sounds like you're playing it.

And go for it. It's great. I haven't quite finished it yet, but assuming it sticks the landing, it's an incredible ride. Each of the 13 stories manages to do something unique enough that it doesn't feel repetitive, plus the short acts make it really easy to just pick up and play for a short time, then stop. And the glossary and timeline are there because the story is intentionally confusing and told in a random order. I have a pretty good grasp on the order of events, but I'll still probably flickt through the full timeline when I'm done just to get everything straight.
