She was first in her class at ND, editor of the law review, clerked for federal appeals in DC, clerked for the SCOTUS, went private and has been teaching at ND. She knows more about the constitution than almost everyone except for a handful of people. She knows more about the constitution than almost everyone except for a handful of people. What the GOP is doing is wrong at this time and her conservative nature (and likely bias) will mess things up but you can't hate on her legal credentials because she didn't known this off the top of her head. It is a really bad take on a very intelligent and accomplished lawyer. We're not bashing her for not knowing this because of her legal credentials. If any of you watched any of the hearings you would have no doubt of her credentials. She was correcting senators on specific wording by particular justices in random opinions.
