Yep, its for that. It was like 3.5 minutes. Im planning it as a four part series and each will be about the same length. Right now Im not technically working on it, but Ive been doing a shot every so often for fun at work since Im not busy enough.

I can totally understand what theyre feeling in those variations, that sticky looks really cool though - is that just for one scene? Or like a bunch of thoughts on a sequence of events?

The little scrap was a couple little establishing shots for the first episode, theres the exterior of the school, a hallway, and then the window looking into the classroom in there. I generally keep little folders full of similar scraps of when I animate, since Ive never really been much for sketchbooks. Love them in theory, but Im a scatterbrained wreck, so they dont suit me much.

I don't, haha. It's more calligraphy in this case, typeface would be for a font. Either way, I think it looks terrible.

I started this as a comic, but I've been terribly lazy about it and haven't finished it yet. I have a little over a dozen pages done if you wanna read through them though. It's about a (possibly) haunted Furby. It's real dumb; you've been warned.

Lmfao I enjoyed the comic alot actually - I love how intense things get near the end and all the stills build up to the peak

and I also really loved the 'NEAH!' and whoosh and WE ARE FRIENDS ;_;

That's not the end at all. It's probably like halfway done. Spoilers if you want them: Wendy gets fixed up and eventually convinces the main character there's a body buried in the neighbor's back yard where she bought the furby. She goes and digs up a hole in the middle of the night and uncovers a shoebox. Inside the shoebox is another furby; a lost "friend"

Janet is his furby's name, yes. (one of many, many furbys) I've always assumed it's named after the character in Rocky Horror, but I suppose I don't know for sure.

Technically no, Ive got it all outlined, and Ive written just about everything, but its not done. I just write more whenever I feel inspired.

Flow was just about some bubbly-dreamlike things possibly floating around. I need a few shots that represent imagination. The pickle was something I drew myself when my BF refused to draw one for me.

I did a background for AwesomeTurtwigs game, Biologger earlier this year, but otherwise, no. Id be interested in it though, especially if I got to write too.

Yeah :) I think that game comes out on Steam later this year, but theres a demo out now. (The demo has the world with my bg)

The Furby story was something I had an idea for for a long time. Id always loved Furbys, but never had one myself. When I first started dating my current boyfriend, I found out he was obsessed with them/liked modding them, so I came back to concept.

I have a very dark sense of humor, so the original story was just going to be about someones lover dying and the partner inheriting their furby and slowly uncovering the dark secrets of their past through the furbys cryptic messages; A serious subject through the lens of something silly and absurd.

Bjork is incredible. I didnt use it for the final version since I want full ownership over it, but it was nice to use while I was working.

The story for that one was originally intended to be about a woman cutting memories out of her body, but I wasnt exactly sure how to portray it, so I ended up taking it in a slightly different direction. Its really just about a woman with a traumatic past learning to channel all her pain into some less self destructive. I made it as a time where my own gender dysphoria was hitting me really hard, so some of the more body horror elements of that also made their way in there.

It's awesome in a weird way to know you put it all on the line through your art though, I mean if there were ever to be a 'calling card' for an artist it's definitely a translation of a persons heart and soul onto any medium

And then to tell a whole story through it? Like man, that music was hitting hard with the whole thing. The culmination of all that is why I love video games.. just to see an entire package of an idea take place type-o thing

I really enjoy seeing all these ways you conceptualize yer pieces before actualizing them in animation!

Also you ever look into making yourself into a publishing company? I know lots-o musicians do that to protect their works (Zappa was especially adamant about this).. not sure if that was like a thing with illustration and animation pieces though. Heard it's like 40 bucks and you basically become some legally recognized company is my understanding of it >__________>
