Red Deluxe is what I've been playing, and started Fools Gold. Sticking to GBC so far, but can run GBA titles as well. Doubtful on DS games.

tbh, I've sometimes worried about what's going to happen my older Pokemon carts die, but I guess the sheer number of fan ROMs would cover me regardless.
