The Commerce Township worker pulled over to remove two political signs that were 9 feet within the road right-of-way, WDIV Local 4 reports. When he grabbed a sign supporting President Donald Trumps reelection campaign, he thought hed been electrocuted; razor blades were taped along the edges of the sign. Bleeding heavily, he drove himself to a hospital where he received 13 stitches. Why would someone set a boobytrap sign to harm someone? township supervisor Dave Scott told the TV station. A child could have picked it up. The homeowner said several of her Trump campaign signs were stolen and then returned recently, the report said. She said she was unaware of the razor blades. The Oakland County Sheriffs Office is investigating this incident.
