If I have too many rank points for a confidant before having a chance to hang out with for the rank up, those extra points are completely scrapped and I have to start fresh for the new rank.

Just starting the game and ryuji asked me to hang out with him and others at the mall or wherever but I already have enough points for a rank up for all of them, wish it was possible to postpone that hangout for another sunday
