Extremely anxious, do not see myself getting the job, feel like the interview is going to be a disaster. Going to put on the suit, and try to put on my best smile, though.

I just feel like it is pointless. I should already have a job at my year, but failed to secure an internship when I probably interviewed with more places than anybody else. I know the only variable there is me, which just hurts. Now I might have to answer why I do not have an internship on my resume. This field (public accounting) does not actually require an internship, many are hired without previous experience, but it just feels like a steep hill I am already climbing.

lol, the point of that question is to see what you think they should know about you. your answer is just about the worst response you can give (besides the first one yelling at them). just re-frame the question as "tell us about your work history that makes you qualified for this job"

First part is done, 2nd part is coming up. It went alright, don't know if I did enough to leave a lasting impression, though. He is the more important of the 2 that will be interviewing me. Had an answer for everything at least, but I'm sure they could have been better.

Done with the interview. It happens every time, but I always feel better about my interview with the Senior Managers than the Partners. Probably due to them being more open to just small talk rather than the nitty gritty as a whole (although not all have been like that, don't get me wrong). Of course, of the two, I would rather leave a more lasting impression on the Partner, but whatever.

As I said, had an answer for everything. Maybe there were times where I could have been more concise, or times where I could have strengthened an answer, but this was my first interview of this season. Who knows, maybe I'll be in for a good surprise. That sure would be nice.

from my understanding, the partners delegate final responsibility to the senior managers
