Deus Ex is debatable. It's not very PC with the dodgy accents and the like, but the devs were quite clear that the point of the game was not to advocate for any particular viewpoint and to let the players make their own mind up. As for the views of the creators, I remember the writer (Sheldon Pacotti) admitting to being a bit of a lefty, plus there are plenty of left-wing ideas in there.
I'm not sure what Warren Spector's views are. He could be more right-wing. Ive been part of the souls community for a long time and its far less racist than other games i follow.
i've been part of the souls community since ptde myself and my experience really only turned this way recently. but i also know about the type of alt-right bullshit to look out for. and maybe it's just on PC. i saw an old alt-right meme the other day, actually -- hazmat suits over avatars. and a week ago i bullied the everloving fuck out of some guy with 1488 in his name. --- ...
