So until now, I've had two drives: a 1TB SSD where I keep my OS and files (documents, programs, games etc) and a 240 GB SSD where I keep backups of uni stuff etc. Now I've installed a 1TB HDD and idk what to do. I've moved my backups onto it, and I'll probably back up my OS onto it too, but not sure what I should do with the 240 GB SSD...

240 SSD can be used for games, if you game.

How hard is it to transfer games that are already installed on one SSD to another?

I generally use my smallest drive as the boot drive with nothing else but the OS on it, and everything else as storage. Assuming the speed differences are negligible.

Super easy if you use Steam.

I assume you mean 1 TB ssd/hdd. Moving games is usually possible, it's very easy on Steam, doable on Uplay, doable but a pain in the ass on Epic, for examples. Only windows store doesn't allow it at all, iirc.

How do I do it on Steam? I'm guessing literally moving the files won't do anything. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the game?

Yeah never move application files manually. When you do that, you move the files out from under the program that's attempting to open/run them.
