Nope. If you've had it on your computer for any spell of time without issue and your AV out of the blue started throwing alarms on it then it's probably a false positive. That goes for any software.

Also if you're still worried then uninstall it and redownload it from the official site, if you didn't originally. Looks like the current version is still the one they released back in 2013 so it should be safe. Otherwise people would have kicked Imgburn to the curb a long time ago.

Kaspersky detected 2 things of adware and I scanned it with Avast and it found one. Opera blocked the download from the site cause of a virus also.

Interesting. Looks like the component that prompts you to install extra stuff during the install wizard ala "Want to also install Google Chrome or Yahoo toolbar?" is what's triggering the adware alert.

So apparently it does have adware but as long as you pay attention during install, then you're safe. Imgburn itself isn't harmful.
