Depends on the size of the company. I know the OP is a little exaggerated but a place with 700 employees would not just have one dude handling sys admin stuff and helpdesk by himself.
Also outside of the app bullet and cloud, everything TC mentioned was what I was doing as a sys admin 10 years ago so it's nothing new. I had about 130 employees at my location I managed. Some places abuse the time of their salary people. You have to get creative to minimize the complexity in the environment to make your workload easier. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
