When you consider the sheer amount of personal and private data even a basic user is putting out into the world through using social media, or email, or through basic browsing, its baffling how we're just okay with people not knowing the first thing about their tech. Hell, lots of people are PROUD of it. Not being a "tech person" is like some old-person-badge-of-honor. Like, imagine being ok with someone not knowing what a steering wheel is, how to use the breaks, how to signal, or how to read street signs, but its OK because they "just need the car to go to work and the store."
