parabola_master 09/30/20 12:15:35 AM #1:	:( :( :( I dont even know how to process this. This is the first covid death of a students family member from our school. Shes an 8th grader now and I had her last year. Her mom is in the hospital now too. :( A few teachers are gonna buy food from Costco and drop it off at her home (obviously staying socially distance + sanitizing items). I think our district might have programs to help out too. I dont mean to sound overly sentimental but I had this student last year and she was so incredible. Absolutely brilliant, kind, and the type of student who pushes me to be a better teacher. I am so heartbroken for her. How can a student who faces the death of a parent go on with this crummy school year of online learning? How much time off will be enough?
