Man, the things I would do to to an abusive parent. This is one of the big reasons why I hate the government so much. Last week I talked about how a man got only 4 years for sexually abusing a baby less than 2 and breaking their bones. 4 years. There are people in jail spending 20+ years for weed and this man gets 4 fucking years.

There was a similar video I saw on reddit a month or so ago. A young girl sobbing about sent to live with her mom because her mom would let her boyfriend sexually abuse her. The truly rage-inducing bit was when she was talking to a social worker and the social worker asked her how that abuse made her feel. The girl responded with the fucking obvious about how sexual abuse made her feel to which the social worker responded, "Well, if you felt so bad about yourself, how were you able to get the lead in the school play?"

^ Like I said, again. This happens so many times. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts and the fact that so much child abuse is reported and nobody does a thing about it figuratively kills me.
