My pretty boring overall prediction though is that the Dodgers win over the Rays in the World Series. I havent seen much of the Braves this year but from what i hear from people that follow em its pretty much just Freeman and Acuna right? Outside of them the Braves arent that good. Also am i the only one that loves the 60 game season? It was easy to follow the games and the start times were amazing. Almost all Padres games were at 5-6pm. In a normal season, each team plays every other team in their league at least once and a good amount of the other league in interleague play too. If they could make a shorter schedule of 80-100 games that still lets the fans see most of the other teams in a given season, that would be nice for the fans. Also wouldn't surprise me if the still ended up being bad over the course of 162 since their bullpen is really bad. They have the worst bullpen ERA of all the playoff teams at 5.50. All four firesales have been tied to a major event in the franchise's history. - Marlins win the World Series in 1997, firesale in 1998. - Marlins win the World Series in 2003, firesale in 2004. - Marlins Park opens and they sign a bunch of big free agents to hype it up in 2012, firesale in 2013. - Jeffrey Loria finally sells the team in 2017, firesale by the new ownership in 2018. I Like Toast 10/02/20 5:32:12 PM #98:	on to the Braves bandwagon. Freddie Freeman deserves good things. But story of the season for the cubs, good starting pitching, poor hitting and a bullpen that was just sort of okay but did get better as the season went on.
