Why am I the one in a pickle? Well, because I'm a loving dutiful little buddy that wants his parents to have the best retirement ever!!!

So... I'm thinking I need to get out of my cute little dustbin and assert myself towards the incoming of income.

Not sure if should Stream, since I have the tech and time to stream like 8 hours a day... but Streamers pretty much make zero money unless they get famous and fame is too much of a stressor I would imagine. The alternatives are my skillset which includes basically game design, astrology... (oh,an associates in geology but who cares they don't make money COUGH) and of course eBegging (which I'm not above since I'd be giving the money to ma parents)

Thing is, I haven't worked since my illness 5 years ago so it's gunna be hard starting over from the bottom again

its not too hard to start making money from twitch streaming. i started two days ago and im already well on my way to affiliate (which is when you can start getting subs and bits).

obviously making retirement money is a different story but it might be better than nothing

I just did Risk of Rain for an hour and a half without even 1 traffic...

What game do you play, or do you stream personal stuff? Should I only play top 5 games like Among Us, League of Legends and the like?

Either way, I don't think I'd be very Stream compatible... I don't mind filming gameplay, or even chatting on the mic, but I get the same heebeegeebees talking on Stream as talking in real life

well you gotta tell people about it dood, nobody's gonna watch if they don't know about it. i don't think you need to play the top games at all. plenty of people build their niches with specific games or just having a lot of variety

I didn't want to just post about it here, I'd have to gain organic traffic or there'd be no throughline... it'd basically just be me asking PotD for money, and that's not the point.

I don't since out of my 4000 recorded hours I've had only about 13 minutes viewed... and all of them Turtwig

EDIT: But ya, the entire hour and a half - even though no one showed, I was paranaoid like "oh god what if someone shows up"

It's just not my thing.

Of course, lazy plain ordinary footage I'm just fine with

But you have to be 'Smart' and good with Programming Computers (not saying the TC isn't) plus it takes years of training unless you go to some Quick Bootcamps...even then, you probably won't get hired for any jobs out the box.
