thats not what happened. Someone else extinguished the gas station.

rittenhouse extinguished a fire in a trash can tote sitting in the middle of the street.
Checked the video again, you are correct someone else extinguished the dump being pushed to blow up the gas station. Then Rosenbaum goes to start more fires elsewhere, presumably encountered Rittenhouse extinguishing something on fire (not confirmed if it were his own).

I wonder how the story would play out if they got away with blowing up the gas station.

not presumably, its on the video as well. He extinguished a trash can in the middle of the street when Rosenbaum confronts him.

thats what his own attorney is saying happened at least, and thats whats shown in the clips the attorney included. If something happened between the trash can fire and the parking lot, its probably not favorable to Rittenhouse, otherwise the attorney would have included it.

Or their isnt footage of it. The video didnt do much about filling in gaps and mostly stuck to what is supported by video.

I'm looking at 3:10 and they going over Rosenbaum apparently going off to start more fires and it cuts to a clip of Rittenhouse running with an extinguisher. It's not on camera showing Rittenhouse spraying off something on fire and I say presumably because I'm iffy if it's just Rosenbaum setting fires, could be another accomplice of his. But the effect is the same I guess, of a number trying to set more trash cans on fire.
