Feels like that would be the most broken combination, nothing is super effective against it.

Duraludon, weak to ground and fighting attacks thanks to its steel typing, but nothing else

Pre-6th Gen Dark/Ghost was the most broken type. Only weak to stuff like Lock-On > Fighting Move.

Yeah IIRC only dark / ghost had no weaknesses but now that fairy type exists there is no combo with absolutely no weaknesses.

Not a great spread of resists, though. Spiritomb is less relevant than, say, Jirachi or Skarm.

Dialga is weak to fighting and ground

that's... the pokemon from the cover of diamond and pearl. huh.

Wait which is fighting strong against in this scenario, I can't recall dragon being weak to it and it doesn't make sense for steel

Steel is weak to fighting, always has been.

Eelektross has no weaknesses (Electric type with the ability Levitate that makes it immune to Ground moves) outside of stuff like Mold Breaker (ability that ignores other abilities) ground moves

Wouldn't bug be quadruple super effective against that combo?

There is however 1 pokemon who naturally have no weakness. Eelektross is an electric type with levitate.

Not that it's impossible to hit super effectively. An Earthquake coming from any Mold Breaker pokemon will still hit it for example.

Bug is not effective against ghost which makes it do neutral damage to dark / ghost

Fair enough. I don't think Sableye was used that much either

Water/Ground is a good combination, outside of the scary Grass superweakness.

Gotta go over the type effectiveness chart one more time, my guy. Bug isnt very effective against ghost. It is an uncommon interaction though.

Sableye did see some use in gen5 because of Prankster tbh

Fighting and Ground. Even worse because these are two of the most common attacking types.

And even in the past, Pokemon with no weaknesses were hardly unbeatable (back when Sableye and Spiritomb had no weaknesses due to Dark/Ghost combo, which no longer applies since Fairy came around).

It started seeing use because of Prankster which it got back in Gen 5 where it was a decent option.

But Prankster has been nerfed, Sabyele has a weakness to fairy, and it loss access to it's mega so it really doesn't have much of anything going for it anymore over other Prankster pokemon because it's base stats are that bad.

I forgot Prankster was in gen 5 lmao

But yeah the lack of it's mega really fucked it, but that's alright because "Everyone can dynamax" amirite?

I think so? The last major change I remember was that steel doesnt resist dark and ghost anymore. Otherwise Aegislash was gonna be way more busted in Gen 6.
