Who do you like most and why? I usually listen to Kyle and Pakman the most. I like Jimmy Dore. He seems very honest but possibly more dangerous because he says the democrats and republicans are basically the same and that it's all theater. Like if his voice had more reach then there would be more third party voters.I think there is a lot of truth here. Pakman is nice. Seems very knowledgeable but I would say he seems the least progressive. He seems to be removed from the importance of the issues. He seems more invested in getting democratic leadership than caring about the actual issues like legalizing pot, helping poor people, etc. There's less discussion about the importance of the issues, and more discussion about the political leaders. I only watch his YouTube though.

How much discussion about how important the issues are is appropriate to you? Progressives already generally agree about what issues are important (until the next generation of progressives come along to eat the current ones). Eventually just repeating how important you think helping the poor, racial justice, etc. is just becomes masturbatory.

You're probably much better off talking about getting the democratic leadership where you need them.

IDK Jon Stewart? But he's not in the news scene anymore.

Seder, easily. Hes the smartest political commentator that I know of, and hes hilarious. Especially when Michael was around, its hard to find more incisive progressive commentary. And his interviews are great.

Pakman and Kulinski are also good.

Realpost: Conservatism and its long-held ideas are tearing the US apart. Populism shed it into its most monstrous form, but the fact is, conservatives oppressing black voters and supporting racist policing policy isn't new, neither is hating on immigrants or eschewing the law

These things are now just openly on display with social media and with no denial maneuvers it had to be reframed. It was going to be down to a confrontation with social conservatism no matter what because they've been tilting the country rightwards for decades since the civil rights movement.
