I've seen it a couple of times since it won Best Picture and I really enjoyed watching it as well. Definitely Top 3 for the Best Picture winners of the 2010s for me (along with Birdman and Parasite).

I don't remember enough of it to say why, but I remember thinking that, while not exactly bad, it was basically a big nothing that I suspect won best picture sorely on how much it delights in the smell of its own Hollywood-fueled farts.

A less interesting, less poignant version of Charlie Chaplin's Limelight, and in that same year, a worse history of film appreciation film than Hugo.

Yeah because of the pandemic I've been going through most movies I've had in my backlog that I've been saving up. Who knew that a time would come for them so soon.

Reminds me of Singin' in the Rain, except it's a silent movie.
