Recipe:
-500gr of pork meat with some fat, but not too fatty.
-3 cloves of garlic
-3 tbps of honey
-3 tbps of chinese cooking rice wine
-2 tbps of sugar
-1 tbps of salt
-2 tbps of sesame oil
-2 tbps of Red Rice Yeast (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_yeast_rice)
-3 tbps of allspice

crush the garlic, mix the sauce ingredients together. cut the pork into long, medium thickness shape. marinate the pork in sauce overnight, refrigerate.

after done marinating, preheat oven to about 150C/300F. wrap tightly in alluminium foil, cook for 30-40 minutes. after 30 mins, take out the meat, unwrap the foil, and take the red liquid with spoon, pour it over the meat. put it back in the oven, set it on the upper heat coil. bake each side without wrapping to get the char / crispyness for about 5-10 minutes. you have to watch the charring process so it doesn't burn.

take out the meat, let it cool and settle down for another 10 minutes before cutting to thin slice and serve with hainamese rice/noodles/ rice noodles or even a sandwich.

Even chinese companies just call it bbq pork
