My doctor said that it was an option, but that there is really no reason to be put to sleep for a vasectomy.

The small talk during is a little awkward though just because your body still reacts when the snip happens despite being numb.

They never mentioned to me that I can be awake. I was told if I wanted a light or heavy dose to fall asleep.

I never been to a hospital for anything before or put to sleep so I went with the heavy and threw up a few hours after the surgery cause I felt light headed.

All I got told was to take some ibuprofen or Tylenol for the pain, and if it was really bad to take both. I guess doctors aren't quite as liberal with their prescription pain meds anymore.

It must be nice to get so much sex that you actually have to do this to keep from reproducing. Sadly I'll never know.

I heard frozen peas work. I was still smoking certain stuff at that time. So smoking helped and the pain wasn't that bad. Just had to move slowly for about 3 or 4 days and didn't do heavy lifting.

I never sent the sample afterwards to make sure it was a success. When the time comes I'll send the sample <_<

i was on couch for about 4 days. Balls are still slightly sensitive but mostly healed now

the first orgasm hurt a bit. I just imagined the sperm running into a roadblock at the end of the tube and increasing pressure on it

Don't assume for the next 5 days that "your balls are much better" because you'll make a move that drops you.

And if you have kids, for the love of god don't let them crash in your bed or pick them up when they kick

Huh, no scalpel procedure...when I got mine done a couple years ago, they did the numbing shots but basically went in and snipped them, tied them up, and cauterized the ends before stiching my balls back up.

well this just happened to me as I decided to grab the railings of my staircase and "jump" the last two stairs. Barely landed hard but it was enough to give me that stomach cramp feeling hah.

But its not nearly as bad as it would have been a week ago
