Alaska Dentist, Seth Lockhart, the man who pulled a patient's tooth while riding a HOVERBOARD has been sentenced to 12 YEARS in the big house for reckless endangerment and a 1.9 MILLION medicaid fraud!!

He joked about the hoverboard stunt in a video he sent to friends and messages showed him bragging that NOBODY would never uncover his crimes!!

But he was convicted in a lucrative fraud scheme where he pressured patients to undergo unnecessary sedations so he oculd send the medicaid bill

Judge Michael Wolverton said "In reviewing this over and over again, i have this visceral response, you darn near killed some people"

In the video he was balanced on the board while extracting a patient's tooth before cheerfully zooming away into the corridor as he joked this was the "new" standard of care

Veronica Wilhelm was the woman in the video who was sedated and had no idea what was going on as she testified that she never gave permission for him to do this and would never because it's dangerous

When asked what she would have said if he asked her if he could do this, she said "I would have said Hell No. That's unprofessional. it's crazy. I think you have to be pretty narcissistic and be pretty full of yourself to think you can pull someone's tooth on a hoverboard"

His lawyer, Paul Stockler said "I want you to know that as his lawyer, i apologize for what he did on that hoverboard"

Veronica was also outraged that he sedated her SON for a teeth cleaning and did not conform to minimum professional standards of dentistry

He denied the medicaid fraud however when word of it reached investigators from a former employee who said he was sedating patients when it wasn't needed

Sinc he obtained an intravenous sedation license in 2015, medicaid paid him 1.9 million for IV sedation services

He apologized for his actions and should have had more discipline and will now begin his 12 year sentence on December 7.

Yeah, somehow the hoverboard incident seems minor compared to $1.9m in fraud.

Sounds like some professionals are actually held to a standard and not saved by their peers from being punished. Maybe one day all people in positions of power and authority can be held to a standard the general population can be okay with and not get away with crimes.

I answer no. But mainly because I dont want anyone pulling my teeth...
