Nothing "justifies it". It's an entertainment product that provides nothing of value. if you're still running a 10 series card, it's a fantastic upgrade (as is the more affordable 3070). It's an "affordable" 4k 60fps card. It does 4k at better frame rates then the 2080TI for a lower price point. So, if you want to upgrade your pc to a 4k gaming machine as new consoles are transitioning to 4k gaming machines, it's a great upgrade. I'm still running a 1060 so i'm going to get about 2.5-3x performance boost. Which is a worthwhile upgrade to me.

If you're still happy in 1080p gaming, the next few months should be a great time for you to buy a used 20xx series from people upgrading. And you can likely enjoy most games at 1440p if you want to do that.

again, digital foundry clowns you. you'll get a 20-40% boost over 20xx cards. Which had you watched the video instead of staring at your loli's, you could have saved yourself from once again showing you have no clue what you're talking about. Which is why you're the perfect mark to blow $1500 on a 3090 that you don't even know what it does.

Once again rika was to busy looking at his lolis to actually watch the video that tells you the bottleneck isn't the pci because you aren't saturating your pc3. That the difference isn't noticable to any human. And there is no limiting. Your CPU is going to limit before your pci. And that they also choose to use Intel and PCI3 for their benchmarks. Because the improved CPU performance is more important.

But in short the video at 3:30 perfectly describes rika.

This is true. Back when the 2080 TI first launched, they were tested with the 8700k. When they tested the 3080 relative to the 2080 TI on a 10900k, the 2080 TI saw an average of 20fps boost. That's with the supposed lackluster performance of Turing. Ampere is _much_ better. Your CPU will bottleneck before your PCIe gen 3 lane will saturate.

See if it holds true at all. I believe newegg isn't supposed to restock until the week after. But I think they only had the 3rd party cards and I want the founders as the fan apparently preformed pretty well and despite the higher power ran cooler than a 2080ti
