I want to say Wasteland 2.

It was not nearly as interesting as the Fallout universe and the biomes are not as diverse.

It ended up just feeling a desert turn-based strategy game.

Supposedly Wasteland 3 is better.

Gonna get a lot of shit for this, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

It felt like a generic, slightly cheese action game. It wasnt bad or anything, I just didnt see what people saw in it. I have no idea how I stuck through the end of it.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Boring combat, boring story, I just couldnt handle how goddamn boring it all was

Tales of Xilia 1 and 2, in my opinion.

granted that I haven't gotten that far in it, but I'm kinda leaning towards Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, out of what I've played recently.

maybe it's because I've been spoiled by Divinity: Original Sin 2, but nothing about the game has really stood out, for me, so far.

I think people who like it must have nostalgia factor. I played it recently with no expectations and it was bland af. Not sure how thats my fault but ok lol

Fallout 4 or Breath of the Wild. For BOTW it's the little things rather than the game itself. When you open a chest and get that really generic sound instead of the Classic Zelda chest sound. Stuff like that turns me off from it and makes me not want to play it. Whoever suggested that it become the chest opening sound should be brought out back and kicked in the kneecap.

At least Tomb Raider played like a better Uncharted at the time, in both shooting and climbing.

Yeah I'm not saying it's bad. Just bland. It was literally every single 2013 trend. Even the concept itself was lifting off the gritty reboot fad. It even had a disposable multiplayer mode with celebrity cameos. It's like the ultimate focus tested game.

Ryse: Son Of Rome has to be the absolute definition of bland. Not a bad game, held my interest long enough to beat it, and then instantly moved on from. Graphically impressive but absolutely soulless art design. Gameplay was alright. I dont even remember the story, at all. I dont know if theres another game Ive ever played, let alone beaten, where I cant remember a single thing about the plot of the game.

Anything Ubisoft makes. The division 2 was just hilarious how bland it was. I mean you might give it a few points for bringing back that lame cover-shooter gameplay from the late 2000s.

Jedi Fallen Order

No heart, no soul. Lifeless. Generic. Not even good gameplay to make up for it. Very vanilla

I tried a Tiger Woods golf game once. I paid full price for it and it even came with wii motion plus. I only ever played it once then never touched it again. It is so damn boring.
